(Emmetsburg)– An Emmetsburg man faces 12 felonies as the result of a sex abuse investigation in Palo Alto county.
34-year-old James Truman was arrested Wednesday and charged with six counts of committing lascivious acts with a child…each a class “D” felony; and six counts of third degree sex abuse…each a class “C” felony.
The charges stem from an investigation by the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office and the Iowa Department of Human Services. Specific details of the investigation weren’t released.
Truman is being held in the Palo Alto county jail on a 156-thousand dollar bond.
The investigation continues.
