November 22, 2014

(Spirit Lake)– A two-vehicle collision Tuesday in Spirit Lake has resulted in charges being filed against a Milford man.

Spirit Lake police say it took place shortly before 5:30 p.m. on 34th Street just west of Keokuk Avenue. Authorities say 43-year-old Charles Ross, Junior of Milford was pulling out of a parking space when he collided with a vehicle driven by 36-year-old Leon Windschitl of Worthington, Minnesota.

No injuries were reported.

1,500-dollars in damage was estimated to a 1986 Mazda pickup driven by Ross while a 2002 Chevrolet pickup driven by Windschitl sustained an estimated five thousand dollars in damage.

Ross was charged with driving while suspended and failure to yield.
