(Boyden)– A Sheldon woman has died of injuries suffered in a head-on crash in Sioux county.
Authorities say it happened just before 8:00 a.m. Wednesday on Highway 18 two miles west of Boyden.
54-year-old Pamela Kreykes of Sheldon was westbound when she crossed the centerline and collided with an eastbound semi.
Kreykes was transported to the Northwest Iowa Health Center in Sheldon and was life-flighted to Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls where she later passed away.
The crash remains under investigation by the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office and the Iowa State Patrol.
