(Arnolds Park)– Fairly typical. That’s how lakes area law enforcement describe activity so far this 4th of July holiday period in the Iowa Great Lakes Area.
Authorities say 27 people were booked into the Dickinson county jail late Saturday night and early this (Sunday) morning. Most arrests were made in Arnolds Park for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
A boat accident was reported this (Sunday) afternoon on East Lake Okoboji near the Highway nine and 71 boat ramp in Spirit Lake. Two people were taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare with what’s described as minor injuries. No other details were immediately available.
