(Estherville)– The board of trustees of Iowa Lakes Community College Tuesday reviewed bids on the rennovation of the exterior of the Algona campus. The bid was awarded to Christensen Construction for just over 110-thousand dollars. A bid of 383-thousand dollars was awarded to Midstates Builders of Spencer for the completion of the upper floor of the Technology Education Center.
ILCC trustees also approved the return of land to Emmet county which was given to the college in the event it chose to construct a fine arts facility adjacent to the the Estherville Regional Wellness Center. Current plans are to construct the facility on the northwest corner of the campus, attached to the existing campus building.
