(Milford)– A two-vehicle accident this (Wed.) morning in Milford sent one person to the hospital.
Milford police say 25-year-old Jennifer Hollow of Milford was northbound on Highway 71 at 13th Street when a vehicle driven by 83-year-old Lavina Dobson of Spirit Lake turned into her path, resulting in a collision.
Dobson was treated on the scene by Milford Rescue and Lakes Regional Healthcare Ambulance paramedics. She was then transported to Spencer Hospital complaining of possible chest pain. No injuries were reported to Hallow.
Four thousand dollars in damage was estimated to a 1998 Mercury Mountaineer driven by Hallow. A 2001 Dodge driven by Dobson sustained an estimated five thousand dollars in damage.
The mishap remains under investigation.
It took place shortly after 9:00 a.m.
