(Wahpeton)– The reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of whoever’s responsible for last Friday’s fatal hit-and-run boat crash on West Lake Okoboji remains at 25-thousand dollars.
Steve Dulin, who raised money for the reward, told KUOO news earlier in the week there was a possibility of the reward being increased to 50-thousand if there was no new information in the case by Wednesday. But late Wednesday afternoon Gary Owen of the Iowa Department of Natural Resources told us the reward remained at 25-thousand dollars. Owen added there’s nothing new to report in the ongoing search for the boat and its operator.
Meanwhile, a funeral service for 50-year-old Doctor Michael Brosnahan of Perry is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Monday (Aug. 22nd) at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in West Des Moines.
Brosnahan’s wife, Jill, was seriously injured in the crash. She remains hospitalized in fair condition.
