(Des Moines)– Okoboji Boats has been recognized as a “Century Business” by the Association of Business and Industry.
The award was presented to Okoboji boats and 33 other retail and industrial business owners during a ceremony August 12th at the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines.
Stacy Brenton of the ABI says businesses can be nominated for the award two ways: either by themselves or someone else, such as the local Chamber of Commerce.
She says the “Century Business” program is intended to emphasize the important contributions the long-time businesses have had on their respective community.
