Clay Co. Narcotics Search Lands Woman In Jail; Results In Search For Two Men

(Spencer)– Yet another narcotics investigation in Clay county has landed a woman in jail and has authorities looking for two men.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says it all started around 4:15 this (Friday) morning when they executed a search warrant on a residence at 1788 410th Street near Royal. The search turned up property and vehicles, quantities of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and two firearms.

27-year-old Sara Launderville, who lives at the location, was home at the time and was arrested on charges of possessionof a controlled substance, marijuana…a serious misdemeanor; and possession of drug paraphernalia…a simple misdemeanor. She was booked into jail on bond of 2,275-dollars.

28-year-old Patrick Johnson, who also lives at that address, was charged with possession of a controlled substance…marijuana; two counts of possession of a firearm by a felon…a class “D” felony; and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was placed at 21,775-dollars.

36-year-old Ronald Vandom of LeMars was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia stemming from items allegedly found in his vehicle. Vandom was also wanted on a couple of warrants. His bond was set at 8,875-dollars.

Both Johnson and Vandom are at-large and are being sought by authorities. Anyone with information as to their whereabouts should contact their local law enforcement agency.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Sheldon Police Department, Iowa Department of Narcotics Enforcement, Iowa State Patrol, the State Fire Marshall; National Guard RAID, Spencer and Royal Fire and Rescue and the Spencer Hospital Ambulance.
