Rollover On I-90 Near Jackson Injures Two

November 22, 2014

(Jackson, Mn.)– A rollover Monday on Interstate 90 in Jackson county sent two people to the hospital.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 22-year-old Scott Jeffers of Brooklyn, New York was eastbound just west of Jackson when he lost control of a 1995 Volvo. The vehicle drifted toward the median. Authorities say Jeffers over-corrected, causing the vehicle to skid back across both eastbound lanes. It then rolled through the ditch, went through a fence, and came to rest on its wheels in a corn field.

Jeffers and a passenger, 22-year-old Logan Stockwell of New York, New York, were both taken to Sanford Hospital in Jackson. They were then transferred to Sanford Hospital in Worthington with possible head and neck injuries.

The vehicle was totaled.

The mishap took place shortly after 5:00 a.m.
