(Spirit Lake)– Plans are being finalized for the 18th annual Spirit Lake MainSail-A-Bration coming up Saturday, June 6th.
Co-chairs of this year’s event are Jeff Thee and Seth Vogel.
New events will include the Nostalgic Variety Show and the “Planeair Soaring Sail”…a custom made artistic airplane flying contest, with planes being flown from the rooftop of A Piece of Work.
Other events include a bicycle poker run, parade, free entertainment, free hotdogs and watermelon, a Texas Hold’em tournament; cookie eating contest; carnival games by the Spirit Lake Noon Kiwanis and the button drawing. Buttons are now on sale at a number of Spirit Lake businesses.
KUOO’s own Joey Elbert has been selected Grand Marshall of the year’s parade.
