(Primghar)– Authorities in O’Brien county are investigating a rash of burglaries to several bars and restaurants that took place in the early morning hours this past Sunday (May 31st).
Burglaries were reported at Rumor’s Lounge in Sutherland, Donna’s in Calumet, Baxterz Bar and Grill in Primghar and The Ye Ohl Coffee Shoppe in Archer.
Another burglary, at Box Car Willy’s in Hospers, is being investigated by the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office and is believed to be related to the ones in O’Brien county.
It’s believed all the incidents took place between 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. Sunday.
Entry was gained to all the businesses by prying doors or shattering windows in doors.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the O’Brien County Crimedusters program. A cash reward of up to a thousand dollars is available to anyone who provides information on the crimes that leads to an arrest and conviction of the perpetrators.
