Minor Injuries Reported In Collision Involving Van & Cattle

(Everly)– A Peterson man sustained minor injuries Friday when a pickup he was driving collided with four head of cattle on Dickinson County Road M-27 at the intersection with County Road A-43.

The Iowa State Patrol says 59-year-old Steve Booth was southbound on M-27 when he collided with the cattle that were crossing the roadway.

Booth sustained minor injuries but was not taken to a hospital.

Three thousand dollars in damage was estimated to a 1992 Ford van Booth was driving with no damage to a trailer it was pulling.

The cattle, owned by Rick Follon of Everly, were valued at four thousand dollars.

The mishap took place shortly before 10:00 p.m.
