Emmet County Crash Results In Possible Injuries

November 22, 2014

(Wallingford)– Possible injuries were reported in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday in Emmet county.

The Iowa State Patrol says 62-year-old Linda Mickelson of Wallingford was northbound on County Road N-32 about a quarter of-a-mile north of the intersection with County Road A-34 when she reached for something she had dropped. Upon looking up Mickelson noticed she had crossed the center line. Troopers say she then over-corrected, causing the vehicle to go into the east ditch.

Mickelson complained of back pain and indicated she was going to see a doctor.

About a thousand dollars in damage was estimated to a 1992 Chevrolet Monte Carlo she was driving.

The mishap took place around 10:20 a.m.
