Bohl was taken by ambulance to Spencer hospital; a passenger on the motorcycle, 59-year-old Noreen Bohl of Graettinger, was taken by ambulance to a Sioux Falls hospital. No information was available on the nature of their injuries or conditions.

No injuries were reported to Chapman.

The collision took place shortly before 7:00 p.m. a mile and-a-quarter east of the intersection of county roads N18 and B25.

The State Patrol was assisted on the scene by the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office.
