(Spirit Lake)– A complaint of a disturbance early this (Fri.) morning in Spirit Lake resulted in the arrest of a Minnesota man on drug charges.
Spirit Lake polcie say they were called to the 1300 block of Ithacac Avenue shortly after 3:00 a.m. after getting a report of a man standing in the street yelling.
Upon arriving police located 38-year-old Jeremy Smith of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. It was determined Smith was intoxicated and was placed under arrest.
A subsequent search of Smith turned up a small amount of what’s alleged to be marijuana along with a small glass pipe.
Smith was booked into the Dickinson county jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance…marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia; and public intoxication.
