(Lismore, Mn.)– A collision involving a deer and a motorcycle over the weekend in southwest Minnesota sent two people to the hospital.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 51-year-old Perry Stenerson of Fairmont was driving a 2008 Harley Davidson southbound on Highway 91 near Lismore when he collided with a deer.
Stenerson and a passenger, 49-year-old Lisa Caster of Fairmont, were taken to Sanford Hospital in Worthington where they were treated and released.
Moderate damage was reported to the motorcycle.
The mishap took place shortly before 11:30 p.m. Saturday.
The State Patrol was assisted on the scene by the Nobles County Sheriff’s Office.
