(Spirit Lake)– Saying they want more time to review it, the Spirit Lake city council took no action Tuesday on a new comprehensive land use plan being proposed for the city.
The new plan was recently completed by the city’s Planning and Zoning Commission.
A public hearing on the document drew no comments at Tuesday’s city council meeting.
It’s the first major update to the city’s comp plan since 1997 and took more than a year to complete.
The P & Z was assisted in the process by the Northwest Iowa Planning and Development Commission.
