(Jackson, Mn.)– A single-vehicle mishap shortly after midnight Saturday in Jackson county claimed the life of a Savage, Minnesota man.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 29-year-old Robert Schneider was southbound on Highway 71 at the Bergen curve when he lost control.
A 2000 Ford Expedition he was driving left the road and rolled several times, coming to rest on its wheels.
Schneider, who was ejected, was found trapped under the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The vehicle was totaled.
The State Patrol was assisted on the scene by the Jackson and Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Offices.
