Sibley Woman Arrested In Connection With Church Theft

November 22, 2014

(Sibley)– A Sibley woman wanted on a warrant for theft in the second degree was taken into custody over the weekend.

19-year-old Heather Kruger of Sibley was arrested Saturday on a warrant charging her with theft in the second degree…a class “D” felony.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says it stems from a search warrant executed at Kruger’s residence and her vehicle. Deputies say it resulted in them finding two gold chalices allegedly stolen from the Catholic Church in Sibley. They were found in the trunk of Kruger’s car.

Kruger was booked into the Osceola county jail on a five thousand dollar cash-only bond.
