(Undated)– Next month’s school board elections look to be uneventful locally barring any last-minute write-in campaigns.
Incumbents were the only ones to file in the Harris-Lake Park, Okoboji and Spirit Lake School Districts.
Incumbents Art Schumacher and Mike Bosma are seeking re-election in the Harris-Lake Park district; Dee Wermersen and Lori Simington filed for re-election in the Okoboji School District; and incumbents Scott Wicks and Todd Hummel filed for re-election in the Spirit Lake Community School District.
The filing period expired this past Thursday, July 30th.
School board elections in the state of Iowa will be held Tuesday, September 8th.
