(Spirit Lake)– Motorists on Highway nine between Spirit Lake and Lake Park can expect to encounter some road work starting this coming Monday, August 10th.
Officials with the Iowa Department of Transportation’s Cherokee construction office say some maintenance work will be done on a bridge three and-a-half miles west of the junction with Highway 86, or Vick’s Corner.
Traffic in that area will be restricted to one land and will be controlled with a stop light.
The project is slated for completion November 15th.
