Criminal Mischief Continues In Royal

(Royal)– The Clay County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an incident in which a water hydrant at the city park in Royal was damaged.

The Sheriff’s Office says it received a complaint from the city of Royal that a hydrant at the city park on Park Street had been vandalized sometime during the night of August 4th or in the early morning Wednesday. Damage was estimated at 300-dollars.

Officials believe it’s associated with a recent rash of criminal mischief in the town.
