(Spirit Lake)– A traffic stop Friday evening in Spirit Lake resulted in drug charges against an Estherville man.
Spirit Lake police say officers stopped a vehicle driven by 19-year-old Joshua Lundgren of Estherville for a traffic violation around 6:40 p.m. officers detected an odor of burnt marijuana coming from inside the vehicle.
Upon investigating they found a green leafy substance alleged to be marijuana along with several items of drug paraphernalia.
Lundgren was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance…marijuana; and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was booked into the Dickinson county jail.
