(Spencer)– The parent company of Northwest Bank has a new President.
It was announced late Monday that Jeff Plagge has accepted the position with Spencer-based Northwest Financial Corporation.
Northwest Financial Corporation is a 1.25 billion dollar financial services holding company and is among the largest bank holding companies in Iowa with 28 locations in Iowa and Nebraska.
Plagge most recently served as chairman, CEO and President at Midwest Heritage Bank. Prior to that he was President and CEO of First National Bank of Waverly, President of First of Waverly Corporation and CEO of First Insurance Services.
He has held bank positions in Webster City and Council Bluffs and is active on a number of state and national organizations.
Plagge is a graduate of Iowa State University and has a degree in Agriculture Business. He attended graduate school at School of Banking in Colorado.
Plagge and his wife Sandy have three adult children.
They’ll be relocating to the Iowa Great Lakes.
