(Sanborn)– Clay county authorities have arrested a Sanborn man wanted on a warrant for two counts of child endangerment, one count of operating while intoxicated…third offense; and one count of driving while revoked.
30-year-old Ryan Reed of Sanborn was arrested on the warrant around 5:20 p.m. Tuesday at his residence and was transported to the Clay county jail.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says the charges stem from an investigation of an all-terrain-vehicle crash back on July 11th of this year north of Peterson.
Deputies say Reed was operating a 2008 Honda ATV when he lost control on a gravel road. It slid sideways into a ditch, became airborne, landed and rolled.
Reed and two passengers–a seven year-old girl and a four-year-old boy–were injured and were airlifted to a Sioux Falls hospital.
