(Sheldon)– Possible injuries were reported earlier this week when a car collided with a motorcycle in O’Brien county.
The Iowa State Patrol says 78-year-old Patricia Muilenberg of Sibley had stopped in the median of Highway 60 and Old Highway 60 when she pulled into the path of a motorcycle driven by 52-year-old James Price of Sioux City.
Troopers say Price was able to maintain control of the motorcycle as it came to rest.
Price sustained possible injuries but apparently wasn’t immediately taken to a hospital.
No injuries were reported to Muilenberg, who was cited for failure to yield.
300-dollars in damage was estimated to a 2001 Ford Focus driven by Muilenberg; the 2001 motorcycle driven by Price sustained an estimated 200-dollars in damage.
The collision took place shortly after 1:00 p.m.
