Clay County Crash Results In Minor Injuries To California Woman

(Spencer)– A two-vehicle collision Thursday at the intersection of Highway 18 and Clay County Road M-50 resulted in minor injuries to a California woman.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says vehicles driven by 69-year-old Judith Eldeb of Oak View, California and 55-year-old Rebecca Simons of Webb collided in the intersection.

Eldeb was transported to Spencer Hospital where she was treated for a should injury and released; no injuries were reported to Simons.

Minor damage was reported to a 2009 Ford driven by Eldeb and to a 2001 Oldsmobile driven by Simons.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Iowa State Patrol and Spencer EMS.

The collision took place around 9:00 a.m.
