(Sibley)– An Ashton man has been charged in connection with an alleged assault that took place Friday at a residence in Ashton.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says it was notified of the incident after getting several 911 calls. An investigation resulted in the arrest of 33-year-old Jason Whitcanack of Ashton who was charged with assault, a serious misdemeanor.
Whitcanack was booked into the Osceol county jail on a one thousand dollar cash bond.
A report of an alleged assault last Thursday at a Sibley drive-in led to the arrest of a Sibley woman.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to a report of an assault at CJ’s Drive-In in Sibley. A subsequent investigation resulted in the arrest of 32-year-old Joy Curry of Sibley who was charged with assault…a simple misdemeanor.
Curry was booked into the Osceola county jail on a 300-dollar cash bond and was released after posting.
