(Estherville)– Trustees of Iowa Lakes Community College have approved an extension of the contract for college President Val Newhouse.
The trustees took the action following a closed session during their regular monthly meeting Tuesday in Estherville.
Newhouse’s contract will now be effective until June 30th, 2012.
Newhouse has served as ILCC’s President since being appointed to the position February 18th of this year following the resignation of Harold Prior.
Newhouse is the college’s seventh President.
