Road Construction Update

November 22, 2014

(Spirit Lake)– There’s good news for motorists as atleast one road in the area that’s been under construction the past month or so has re-opened.

Dickinson County Engineer Dan Eckert says a four-mile stretch of County Road M-27 south of Highway Nine that had been closed for re-surfacing was reopened to traffic as of about 1:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Meanwhile, work continues on several other projects in the area, including Peoria Avenue north of 15th Street in Spirit Lake.

And officials with the city of Arnolds Park say there will be a disruption in boat traffic in the area of Sawmill Bridge. Crews are to begin removing the existing bridge September 21st for a replacement project.
