(Sibley)– There’s been another small plane crash in the area.
This one happened around 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Sibley Airport.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says 60-year-old Linda Davidson of Milford was attempting to land her plane but was coming in too fast. Authorities say the plane left the runway and crashed into the median of Highway 60 and 190th Street.
Davidson sustained a minor head injury and was transported to the Osceola Community Hospital in Sibley.
There was no immediate word on a dollar amount of damage to the plane.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on the scene by the Sibley ambulance, Sibley Fire and Rescue and the Iowa State Patrol.
