(Sibley)– A single-vehicle crash in Osceola county has claimed the life of a Fulda, Minnesota man.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says 36-year-old Llod Wynia of Fulda, Minnesota was driving a 1982 Yamaha motorcycle northbound on Highway 60 approaching the intersection with 130th Street when a dog ran out of the east ditch in front of him. Wynia attempted to brake but was unable to avoid the dog and lost control in the intersection.
Wynia was taken to the Osceola Community Hospital in Sibley where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
About 500-dollars in damage was estimated to the motorcycle, owned by James Murphy of Fulda, Minnesota.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on the scene by the Sibley ambulance, Sibley Fire and Rescue and the Iowa State Patrol.
