(Worthington, Mn.)– A single-vehicle crash Wednesday evening on Highway 59 north of Worthington sent one person to the hospital.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 33-year-old Rodney Lafreniere of Hastings, Minnesota was southbound when he lost control. The vehicle went into the ditch and rolled.
Authorities say Lafreniere wasn’t wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.
He was taken to Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls with broken ribs and a head injury.
A 2003 Chevrolet Silverado he was driving was totaled.
The crash took place shortly before 8:00 p.m.
The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted on the scene by the Nobles County Sheriff’s Office.
