(Spirit Lake)– Several singers from Spirit Lake High School have been selected to perform in honor choirs at the North Central District of the American Choral Directors Association.
They include Savannah Ferguson, Krista Brown, Jack Goodlaxson and Andrew Ites.
1,327 students from Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin auditioned via CD this past summer. 571 singers were selected from the five-state region.
Ferguson and Brown will perform in the High School Women’s Honor Choir; Goodlaxson will perform in the High School Men’s Honor Choir and Ites will perform in the 7-9th grade chorus.
The honor choirs will perform at the NCACDA Conference in Minneapolis in early March.
