Previously Convicted Sex Offender Re-Arrested

November 22, 2014

(Spencer)– A previously convicted sex offender is once again in trouble with the law.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 29-year-old Allen Mills of Spencer was arrested earlier this week after a deputy received information Mills had not been complying with sex offender registry guidelines.

Mills was arrested and charged with failure to comply as a sex offender…a class “D” felony. He was booked into the Clay county jail on a 9,750-dollar cash-only bond.

Authorities say the charge originated in Emmet county, which had issued a warrant for Mills’ arrest.
