(Mountain Lake, Mn.)– A collision involving a car and a semi Sunday evening on Highway 60 a mile east of Mountain Lake sent two people to the hospital.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 46-year-old William Wiener of Fenton, Iowa was driving a 2006 Freightliner and 84-year-old Bessie Harder of Mountain Lake was driving a 2002 Buick LeSabre when the two collided at the intersection of Highway 60 and Cottonwood County Road One.
Harder and a passenger in her vehicle, 91-year-old Jacob Dick of Mountain Lake, were taken to the WIndom hospital where they were treated and released.
No injuries were reported to Wiener.
Both the semi and car were totaled.
The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted on the scene by the Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office, Mountain Lake Police Department, and the Mountain Lake and Windom ambulances.
The Collision took place shortly after 7:30 p.m.
