(Milford)– Brian Reed has submitted his resignation as Milford’s City Administrator after eight years at the helm.
He’s accepted the position of City Administrator with the city of Brandon, South Dakota effective December 1st.
The Milford city council Monday accepted Reed’s resignation with regret.
Reed says moving out of the area was a tough decision by he and his family, but he says the opportunity was just too good to pass up.
Reed cites downtown improvements, including the recent Highway 71 sidewalk and streetlighting project and construction of the new fire station as some of the major accomplishments during his tenure with the city.
