LRH Trustees Decide To Streamline Committees; Change Meeting Time

November 22, 2014

(Spirit Lake)– The board of trustees of Lakes Regional Healthcare is streamlining some of its committees and changing the time of its monthly meetings.

Trustees Thursday voted to reduce their advisory board from six members to three; Finance and Executive Committees are being combined, along with the Personnel and Endowment Fund Committees.

And beginning with the November meeting, monthly board of trustee meetings will be held on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 7:00 a.m.

LRH trustees also decided to increase the threshold for capital expenditures from 10-thousand currently to 50-thousand dollars to better reflect today’s costs of capital items.

Trustees took the actions as they reviewed their constitution and bylaws, which is required every three years.
