(Linn Grove)– A single-vehicle collision Saturday near Linn Grove sent one person to the hospital.
The Iowa State Patrol says 18-year-old Brooke Richards of Linn Grove was westbound on 420th Street when she lost control while negotiating a curve. The vehicle went into the ditch and rolled, coming to rest on its wheels.
Richards was taken by the Spencer ambulance to Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake. No information was available on the extent of her injuries or condition.
An estimate of damage to a 2000 Ford pickup Richards was driving wasn’t available.
The crash took place around 3:15 p.m. Saturday.
The State Patrol was assisted on the scene by the Clay and Buena Vista County Sheriff’s Offices and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.
