(Arnolds Park)– A local tourism publication has received some special recongition.
Vacation Okoboji magazine, produced by the Okoboji Tourism Committee, was named Tourism Consumer Publication of the Year at this year’s Iowa Tourism Conference in Tama.
The 146-page guide was chosen from entries in the category for communities with a population up to 10-thousand. The winning publication was chosen based on several criteria including outstanding marketing piece, measurable and effective marketing results and quality publication and distribution.
A total of 19 awards were presented at the conference. Professionals representing several facets of Iowa tourism judged the nominations.
