(Emmetsburg)– An investigation into a report of a suspicious vehicle resulted in drug charges against an Emmetsburg man.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office and Emmetsburg Police Department says it started shortly after 1:00 a.m. Friday when they received a report of a suspicious vehicle at the Emmetsburg Kum ‘n Go store.
Upon investigating a deputy found a suspect identified as Joseph McKnight to be in possession of a controlled substance…marijuana; and drug paraphernalia.
McKnight was arrested and booked into the Palo Alto county jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance…marijuana…an aggravated misdemeanor; and possession of drug paraphernalia…a simple misdemeanor.
