(Milford)– Minor injuries were reported in a car/deer collision Thursday evening on Highway 71 on the north edge of Milford.
Milford police say 31-year-old Joshua Toft of Spirit Lake was driving a 1998 Dodge Stratus northbound near the billboards when a deer ran out of the west ditch and hit the driver’s side window, shattering it.
Toft was treated on the scene for some minor cuts and scrapes but was not taken to a hospital.
600-dollars in damage was estimated to the vehicle.
The mishap took place around 5:10 p.m.
