Sioux County Traffic Results In Arrests Of Two People From SW Mn.

(Orange City)– A traffic stop around Noon Sunday in Sioux county landed two people from southwest Minnesota in jail.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy conducted the stop on Highway 18 two miles west of Boyden.

Upon further investigation, authorities say 22-year-old Tanisha Martins of Pipestone, Minnesota was arrested for possession of a controlled substance…marijuana…a serious misdemeanor; and possession of drug paraphernalia…a simple misdemeanor.

A passenger in the vehicle, 28-year-old David Mulvihill of Bigelow, Minnesota, was arrested on a warrant out of Osceola county for a probation violation.
