(Milford)– A two-vehicle collision yesterday (Tues.) afternoon on Highway 71 in front of Farmer’s Savings Bank in Milford resulted in minor injuries.
The Milford Police Department says 77-year-old Margaretta Theiner of Fostoria was northbound on Highway 71 and was attempting to make a left-hand turn when she collided with a southbound vehicle driven by 78-year-old Charles Scheil of West Okoboji.
Theiner complained of pain and was taken to Spencer Hospital where she was treated and released.
No injuries were reported to Scheil.
Seven thousand dollars in damage was estimated to a 2008 Chevrolet driven by Theiner; three thousand dollars in damage was estimated to a 1998 Oldsmobile Scheil was driving.
The Milford Police Department was assisted on the scene by the Arnolds Park Police Department, Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office, Milford Fire and Rescue and the Lakes Regional Healthcare ambulance.
Authorities say the collision remains under investigation.
