(Fairmont, Mn.)– A single-vehicle crash Thursday on Interstate 90 east of Fairmont sent one person to the hospital.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 25-year-old Katie Herreld of Kasson, Minnesota was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer westbound when she lost control after hitting a patch of ice. The vehicle left the road and rolled.
Herreld was taken by ambulance to the Fairmont hospital with non-incapacitating injuries. No injuries were reported to a child passenger, who was secured in a safety seat.
The mishap took place shortly after 10:30 a.m.
The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted on the scene by the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, the Fairmont Police Department and Gold Cross ambulance.
