(Spencer)– A Spencer business has been awarded funding to rehabilitate a rail spur.
Shine Brothers Corporation will receive a loan of 206,071-dollars and a grant of 105-thousand to rehabilitate some railroad track to load train cars with scrap metal.
A total of 3.3 million dollars was awarded to seven rail improvement projects sa part of the Iowa Department of Transportation’s Railroad Revolving Loan and Grant Program.
