Single-Vehicle Crash Results In Minor Injuries To Teen

November 22, 2014

(Primghar)– A single-vehicle crash Sunday night in O’Brien county resulted in minor injuries to a teen.

The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office says 16-year-old Jonathan Howe of Primghar was westbound on 390th Street when he slowed down and lost control on the ice-covered road. The van went into the south ditch, striking a 911 pole and a hard snow bank.

Minor injuries were reported to Howe. A news release issued by the Sheriff’s Office doesn’t say whether he sought immediate treatment.

2,500-dollars in damage was estimated to a 1998 Mercury Villager van he was driving.

The crash took place shortly before 11:00 p.m.
