(Spirit Lake)– The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance as it investigates a snowmobile accident earlier in the week that injured a woman.
Deputies say it happened around 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 16th, on Highway nine east of Spirit Lake.
Authorities say the unidentified woman was taken to Lakes Regional Healthcare by a third party private vehicle, and was then life-flighted to a Sioux Falls hospital with extensive injuries.
Deputies say the woman was unable to give any details about the incident.
Anyone with any information on the individuals involved or the third party that transported the woman to Lakes Regional Healthcare is asked to contact the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office at 336-2793.
