(Spencer)– Three Spencer boys face assault charges as the result of an investigation into an assault that occurred December 17th on a Spencer school bus.
Spencer police say the three boys, two of them 10-years-old, the other 12, have been charged with assault…an aggravated misdemeanor. The three were released to the custody of their parents.
Police say the victim was 11-years-old and that the assault was not sexual in nature and that there were no serious injuries.
Police Chief Mark Lawson says the case remains under investigation, but he does not expect any additional arrests to be made.
